COVID19 - The Black Swan of Banking
Covid has changed the working model for banks from a restricted in-office environment to a more distributed remote working. Banks have realized that remote working is, in fact not so difficult a proposition and productivity challenges can be managed without much pilferage of time. This will enable a shift of consumer banking from branch- to digital banking. Once banks themselves move to digital ways of working, they would be more forthcoming in adopting and adapting to digital banking.
