According to the National Survey on Household Finances, 10.3 million households (28% of all households in the country) claim to have their savings stored with friends and family, batches or loans to third parties. On the contrary, only 539,000 households (1.5% of the total) save or invest informal financial products such as time deposits or investment funds.
